”BIM and lean construction – international experiences” seminar on 27th February

The Estonian Road Cluster and TTK University of Applied Sciences will organise an international seminar titled ”BIM and lean construction – international experiences”.

The seminar will be held on 27th February at 10.00 in Room 021 of the E-learning Centre of the TTK University of Applied Sciences

The seminar aims to introduce experiences gained in the field of BIM and lean construction as well as options for its implementation in the road management, providing examples from the United Kingdom, Finland and Estonia. 

The seminar will open with words of welcome by Enn Tammaru, lecturer at TTK University of Applied Sciences. Derek Drysdale, Chairman of UK Lean Construction Institute, Lance Craig Marshall, Structural Engineer in Highway Agency and Heikki Halttula, Executive Director of a Finnish company Vianova Systems Finland Oy, will talk about international practices and experiences. The seminar will end with the introduction of the first BIM CAVE in the Baltic states by TTK University of Applied Sciences Assistant Professor Aivars Alt. Moderator of the seminar will be Ergo Pikas from Aalto University.
